Whatsoever Things Are True: Classic Discourses on Truth by James H. Thornwell $ $ Lectures on the Book of Esther by Thomas M'Crie (Paperback) $ $ Classic Reformed Discourses and Essays by J.H. Merle D'Aubigne $ $   Family Worship: Some Practical Guidelines Having considered the decline of family worship, as well as some biblical principles and positive benefits to support its practice, I’d now like to offer several basic guidelines that should govern our thinking and practice as we endeavor to implement family worship in our homes.

Worship has to do with relationships more than it does rituals. Worship, even family worship, is a way of life. Family worship is not ONLY gathering together to sing, read the Bible, and pray. Family worship is more, yet simpler. For a family where Christ is central, family worship is not a weekly event or gathering. Family worship is all of life. We are here and available to serve you. See how we are working to keep you and our team members safe while continuing to resource ministry. See our COVID response.

    6. What time of day is best for family worship? The time of day is not the most critical element of family worship. Some families prefer to worship as the day begins. For others, the morning hours are simply too hectic for family worship. In these cases, evening may work best. Many families prefer to adjoin family worship. The Bread of Life () The Life-Giving Spirit () The Light of the World () The Good Shepherd () Whether John planned his Gospel to be divided so neatly into two Books, Seven Signs and Seven Discourses, is debatable. However, it provides the modern reader with some structure within which to understand Jesus' ministry.
